Located in the west of Mexico and bordering the Pacific Ocean, Jalisco has always been a symbol of Mexicanness for its distinctive icons such as tequila and mariachis. It is the third most populated state in the country and one of the most important in terms of economic, commercial and cultural activities.
It is home to thousands of archaeological zones, numerous magical towns as well as important tourist and economic destinations such as Puerto Vallarta, the emblematic Tequila Route and, of course, its capital, Guadalajara.
